A Listed Love AffairPublished on 19th July 2017
We’re often asked about whether or not our structures are suitable for listed and period properties, and whilst each individual property will be subject to varying planning rules and regulations, it can certainly be done – as evidenced by this contemporary conservatory for a listed property which we’ve dusted of from the archives to share with you today.

To create a bright living space from a hitherto little used outside area for a grade II listed property
Working with a local architect, Apropos created a sympathetic bespoke conservatory for this grade II listed Birmingham property. The clean, modern lines of the conservatory complement the property perfectly; allowing the character of the original building to flourish, whilst providing a thoroughly contemporary twist.
As the images in the slideshow highlight, prior to the erection of the conservatory the external area was nothing more than dead space, containing overgrown bushes and garden paraphernalia. The conservatory has completely regenerated this dead space, providing a living area that will be well-loved in the years to come.
