A Couple of Conservatories

We’ve got a treat for you today – a modern kitchen and utility room lean to conservatory extension, which spans the entire back length of this red brick property, coupled with a traditional conservatory which seeks to make the most of some dead space in this properties large back garden.

Glass extension

The Details

Order: Barton, 2645 | Location: Isle of Wight | Colour: Slate Black | Glass: Pilkington Active | Features: 5 Leaf & 10 Leaf Aprofold Doors, Traditional Side Conservatory & Automatic Ventilation

The Brief

For this project our clients wanted both a traditional style conservatory installing to the side of their home, in which they could sit back and relax, as well as a glazed kitchen and utility extension, which would span the entire back length of their large home.

The Process

Our designer kept closely to their original desires but introduced Aprofold doors into the design; allowing the entire back of the home to be opened onto the garden. Automatic ventilation was also fitted in both aspects of the project.

The Result

The result is two very different structures brought together by the  choice of powder coating colour and specialised glasses. The kitchen & utility extension now acts as a meeting ground for all the family and we’re told the conservatory to the side of the property makes an excellent relaxation zone!
