An Industrial Kitchen ExtensionPublished on 16th September 2017
Today we’re sharing with you one of our most favourite kitchen extension – which we working alongside RIBA accredited architect to design and construct. This case study is one from the archives, but we hope you’ll agree that this design has truly stood the test of time, looking just as cool and contemporary today as it did on the day our fitters packed up.
Size: 7.5m x 3.8m
Features: Door Screens, fixed screens, single switch electric roof vent openers
Colour: RAL 9007 – Grey Aluminium (now discontinued and superseded by RAL 7039 – Quartz Grey)
The client was a RIBA registered architect who wanted to extend his kitchen to create a light and airy space which was contemporary, stylish and practical. We designed a lean to conservatory which used the original features of the house.
The use of the glass roof ensured that the room was light and airy. Electric roof vents were installed to allow air to flow through in the summer. Matching brickwork was used to match the existing structure. The grey aluminium was used to create a contemporary feel to the conservatory.
A contemporary kitchen, diner which opens out the house and provides access to an extensive garden.
