Today’s case study perfectly showcases the bespoke nature of the Apropos design system, thanks to it’s unusual shape and entirely unique aspect.

The Details

Order: Wells, 2601 | Location: Berkshire  Dimensions: 3100mm x 8380mm | Colour: Slate Black | Glass: Pilkington Active Blue | Features: 3 Leaf Aprofold Doors & Automatic Ventilation.

The Brief

Our clients requested a quirky take on the traditional aesthetic for their orangery style extension. The couple, in their mid forties, wanted the extra space adding to their detached home for the purpose of relaxation and from which to admire their lovely green garden.

The Process

Our designer suggested the addition of Pilkington Activ Blue glass which self cleans to minimise maintenance. The use of a fully glass roof, with automatic ventilation, also ensures that the room is light & airy.

The Result

The result is a striking yet conservative glass extension which acts as a second sitting room in our clients home. The flow from Aprofold doors to garden also opens up possibilities for the use of their outside space. The couple tell us they now spend most of their time in their new Apropos addition.
