Apropos Enters The International Design and Architecture Awards 2012.Published on 16th August 2012
Once again Design Et Al’s annual ‘International Design and Architecture Awards’ are underway; as voting begins this week. The awards celebrate the very best minds and companies behind some of today’s top architecture and design; attracting only the most innovative and forward-thinking within the industry.
Having received the award for ‘Best Glass House’ last year, in the 2011 awards, Apropos have chosen to enter the higher category of ‘Best Architectural Glass House’ this year, with their stunning new build atrium, pictured above, which is located in the Welsh valleys. Apropos are confident with their structure; which acts as an architectural focal point for the welsh property, and believe it to be not only majestic to look upon but also fashioned from the highest quality materials available today. However, the calibre, within the competition, is high and all entrants have put forward only their finest designs.
Apropos once more compete against their worthy rival from the past two consecutive years; Trombe, and a new entry; Peter Gluck & Partners, who have both made the competition much more interesting with the inclusion of their impressive structures. At the moment voting could go any way so Apropos need all the votes they can muster; ensuring they remain amongst the winners, at this year’s award ceremony, which will be held in late September at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
